About Colour Analysis
Colour Analysis is based on the way colours interact with one another. A colour can look quite different depending on what it sits next to, and the same principle applies when colour is placed against your skin.
Temperature - whether warmer or cooler colours work best with your undertone. This is different from the surface colour of your skin, which may be fair, deep or anywhere in between.
Depth - whether lighter, medium or deeper shades create the most flattering balance with your natural colouring.
Clarity - whether clearer, brighter colours or softer, more muted tones bring greater harmony to your complexion.
Contrast - how much difference between light and dark your natural colouring can comfortably carry.
It is the combination of these qualities that helps me understand the colours that will suit you the best. I use a twelve season approach, first identifying whether you sit within Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter, then refining this further to find your sub season. This gives you a more individual and accurate palette of colours.

Definitely not. Colour analysis consultations are tailored and refined to you as an individual. It’s about providing you with the colours that will make you look and feel amazing, not rigid rules.

For those who never leave the house without make-up, I completely understand how this can make you feel self-conscious and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, it is extremely difficult to see your true skin tone with any make- up on, therefore, if you would prefer to arrive with make-up, we can remove it once you are here.

No, you can wear whatever you like, as long as it isn’t too high up around your neck. I will need a white base to start the colour draping, but I can use a white draping cape around your shoulders to provide a blank canvas to work from (this is washed after each client).

Absolutely not. Finding the colours and tones that compliment a man’s natural skin tone, especially those clothes worn near the face, can not only enhance a man’s appearance, making them look younger and healthier, but also increases confidence - exactly the same as with women. Learning how to combine colours and patterns is of great benefit, whether considering work or casual wear.
